My son Noah was born on september17th 2003 and was
stillborn. I had a perfect pregnancy. And was not aware that i had infection
that i had gotten from the hospital until after Noah was born. The infection
attacted our little son and i lost him at 37 weeks. It was the worst thing
that could happen. We Know our son is in heaven and is being taken care of.
We miss him so much it hurts. |

Our sweet Angel Mikey was stillborn at 39 weeks. We had the
picture perfect pregnancy. His heartbeat always strong and my blood pressure
always low. We had no clue that we would never bring our sweetheart home
with us. He was 8lbs 15oz and 22inches full head of brown hair and just cute
as a button :) He is very much loved and missed always and forever. His
daddy and I look forward to the day that we get to see him again and spend

We just lost our baby niece on 08/03/03 Due to Trisomy
18.She lived 5 1/2 months.She was born on Valentine's Day.She was very
beautiful,and such a fighter.They said she wouldn't make it through
delivary,but she showed them.She made it past all of their suspicions,and
bless her little heart,was trying to make it past the 9 months.She just got
tired,and was ready to go home.Her little body couldn't take it anymore.She
had a lot of health problems due to this Trisomy.She is gone to Heaven
now,where we will see her again one day.She will be loved and missed so
much,and thought of every day.I can't wait to see her again one day.Till i
do,I will know that she is being taken care of,and that she will be my
little guardian angel.We love you Annabelle! Thanks for making this
site.Sorry to all that have lost a baby.I dont have any yet,but we are
trying.And I hope and pray that things go ok with that. |

I think your site is wonderful! What a nice service for all
the families who have little angels. I do many portraits in pencil of babies
who were stillborn, and they are hard to do, but I know they are so
meaningful and comforting to the familes. I take the photographs that the
families have and can usually artistically improve upon them, providing a
comforting image that the families can use on their personal websites (or
here) and also have a one of a kind work of art for the wall. This is an
important need that you are filling with your webpages, thanks for doing

My daughter Kayla Maire was born still, February 19, 2003.
It has been just over 4 months and it's still as fresh in my mind as if it
were yesterday. I can't imagine feeling this way for the rest of my life. I
miss my angel so dearly and long to be with her again. I know one day we
shall be reunited but it saddens me to think how long that will be! I know I
have lots of relatives in heaven and hope they are taking good care of her
till I get there. I regret that I didn't hold her more and touch her more
for the time I did get to spend with her. Only going through all of this do
I now understand other family and friends who have gone through this same
thing. It's a private hell that no one could ever imagine unless they have
been there. The saddest thing for me is that I had been to the doctor just a
2 weeks prior and told them she wasn't moving. They hooked me up to the NST
machine and said she was fine! Even then, she must have been fighting for
her life! Within only 2 wee |

I lost my first daughter to a Metabolic disorder, the cause
is unknown and the doctor's still can't explain it. Gracelyn was born full
term. She weighed 6lbs 8ozs and was 18 1/2 inches long. She was beautiful
and perfect. Fifteen days later she died in my arms. I had my hand upon her
heart and felt her precious heart stop beating. I held my baby girl as she
became an Angel. I am so blessed to have held one of God's precious Angels.
Thank you God for choosing me. I think about Gracelyn every day. I hope for
just a sign from her saying I am still here and I love you. I now am six
months pregnant and just found out it is a girl. These past few months have
been unbelievable. I can't wait to hold my baby girl. I know right now they
are playing together in heaven. |

Our first baby Lois Ellen was born at 35 weeks. No signs of
any complications, she was perfect (6lb 14oz). She started having breathing
difficulties at about 2 hours old. We held her, cuddled her, kissed her. We
did not ever imagine we would lose her. She was taken to the neo-natal unit
at 4 hours old, where she was connected up to a ventilator etc. She
struggled for the next 6 hours, then we lost her at 11.00pm. We managed to
get all Lois's Grandparents to the hospital before she died. She was
baptised by her Pompa (my Dad), which was a beautiful touch to such a
helpless situation. We found out 2 weeks after Lois died that she had Group
B Strep. They did not realise this at the time she died. We now have 2
wonderful children; Grace 5 and Alex 4. |

and ive already went through the hurt and pain of losing my first baby. my
baby was born still during my 7th month. i never got to see him move,look
into his eyes or even hear him cry. he was so beautiful but i know that he
is being tooken very good care of in the arms of the angels. i never thought
that something so awful would ever happen to me, i watched it happen to
other people but it never really hits you until you experience it yourself.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my only son Jason
Barganier 5 years ago. The pain never goes away and I still cry several
times a day and hope it is a bad dream. I remember falling to my knees and
wailing too. Jason had taken LSD and was having horrible hallucinations. He
dove out a window to escape whatever it was the drug made him fear. When I
arrived at the hospital I was told he was braindead. I had to make the
decision to remove my only son from life support and let him go. I will pray
that you have some peace and your family be kept safe from anymore such

On June 19, 1995, I gave birth to Coleman Allen Rider. He
was 10 1/2 inches long and weighed a mere 12 ounces. I did not know what
groupb was, much less the devastating results of it. I made the difficult
decision to not try and sustain litlle Cole's life, for I did not want him
to feel pain and prodding the short time he was here. He only lived for two
miutes, but those memories will last me a lifetime through. I have not
reached out before now, for any support. I was only 18 when this happened, I
am now about to turn26 and he should have been seven this past June. I would
love to hearfrom other parents, that have felt this pain. I would also like
to hear of people who have went on to have healthy babies, because I have
yet tofind the courage to try again, even though I desperately want to, I do
not feel like I can survive the loss again. Thank you, for this wbsite......it

Your site, is so complete. Little Noah, our Angel- will go
on, always... Melissa a wonderful, and a hard turn around. you are
remarkable, along with Mark.. The strength, you found to pull yourself, and
save your family, is so heart-warming!! Noah's story is so overwhelming,
usually I would cry, at the reading, of your story. Yet, I didn't and can't
because, he still lives on!! through all that you do. The beautiful baby, on
the page, you feel only joy, knowing, the whole story. In memory of my
beloved, Grandmother, passed on july 14, 2002, I would like to submit her
lost little boy, in those days, there were no support systems, please keep
them in prayer.for three days, he was in seizures, all that stopped them was
a cool tub of water.I try to imagine the anxiety, my grandmother, Wynter
must have gone through. My mother was 6ys, the event marked her for life.

I was on line looking up a syndrome of a child available for
adoption and some how ended up here. We lost our first child Katie from
Trisomy 13, and 7 miscarriages later now have two wonderful daughters! It
seems a lifetime ago when I delivered Katie and hearing the doctors relay
their list to us of everything wrong with her, and her very poor prognosis.
We were able to take her home for 10 wonderful weeks, and we will never
forget our little Katie. We hope that if anyone does go through such a loss,
know there is hope for brighter days and that it is better to love than to
never have loved at all. |

Aaron and I lost our son, Mason, February 18th 2001. He was
diagnosed with partial Trisomy 3 and partial Trisomy 14. Since I am adopted,
we had no idea that I had a balanced translocation. This caused Mason's
genetic defect and thus his short life here on Earth. Mason was a blessing
after many months of infertility treatments. Life is challenging for reasons

Melissa, the web site you have made is, I think is what
every mom out there that has lost a baby needs to see. It has been just over
a year since we lost my beautiful twin daughter Jasmine Leena , and just
over 8 months since we lost my second beautiful twin daughter Jordan Diane.
I am starting to slowly come to terms with my losses, but some days are just
alot harder than others to get through. I sometimes think that my girls dont

Melissa the website is fantastic! As the Grandmother of a
set of BEAUTIFUL twin girls who were born prematurely and then also went to
live with God in Heaven, I experienced a tremendous sense of loss and grief.
Through the help of your support group, the newsletters, and many caring
hugs and tears from other Mom's like yourself, I am beginning to come to
terms with my loss. They say time will ease the grief, but the emptiness in

I miscarried very early on in my pregnancy. It was Dec'94 &
I will never forget the day it happened or how I felt. Even though I had not
felt, seen or heard the baby yet I felt like a big part of me had been taken
away. To my knowledge there wasn’t a support group in my area, which is why
I am very glad that Melissa has started Healing Hearts so that we know we
are not alone. It took me a long time to be able to talk about losing my
baby and so my husband and I dealt with my miscarriage without any help.
Now I am able to talk about it and I
feel that nobody should have to go down that road alone. |

I have just read Noah's story and know that you, like us,
treasure that you had him with you even for just 2 days. Our son Jasper
lived for 24 days and in that time we thought we were on the home run, and
then he got a bad infection - candida septacemia. This lowered his blood
pressure and stopped his kidney's working and so, his heart stopped because
his body couldn't get rid of potassium. We miss Jasper contantly but we
treasure the time we had with him and are very very proud of him. |

My dear friend Melissa~ Your site is absolutely beautiful.
Just like all things that are a part of you, it radiates your love for Noah
and your passion for helping others. When I was so lost in the fog of grief
and drowning in despair, you were my lighthouse in the fog, a beacon of
hope. I can never repay you for helping me to rebuild my life. It has been 2
long years since my beautiful Amber was called back to Heaven and I am
finally feeling like I want to live again, not just exist and get thru the

I myself have lost 3 children due to miscarriage. The loss
is such an unbearable and unexplainable pain. I am very Thankful for Melissa
